What We Do

 

Through the visionary lens of Eugene F. Ford, Sr., a multi-family apartment owner and developer, we were one of the first organizations in the country to design, create, and implement community service programs in affordable housing communities to support economic mobility.

 

We work directly in underserved communities, onsite, where low-income residents live, to close the achievement gap, to provide fresh food, support veterans aging safely in place, and to help working-class families achieve economic stability through financial literacy and workforce development. 

 

Our partners include individual donors, investors, health care companies, financial institutions, foundations, developers, owners, and property management companies working to stabilize neighborhoods and communities.  Our work focuses on six key pillars:
